Porsche Training and Fleet Transfer Centre
H-2040 Budaörs, Rét utca 2.
E-cars are a big challenge not only for the VW Group, but also for the mechanics of Hungarian service networks, who have to relearn how to safely deal with the dangers they face under the hood. The new training centre will provide mechanics with useful answers and training opportunities for the challenges posed by e-mobility. The one-storey part of the building will be used for the preparation and management of large-scale fleet transfers. The transfer of 100 to 150 police vehicles at a time is a major challenge, which the new fleet transfer facility will help to meet.
The building is constructed with a drilled pile foundation on which a precast reinforced concrete frame structure is built. The split slab is a prefabricated circular cavity panel, while the end slab is a high rib trapezoidal sheet with state-of-the-art thermal insulation and soft PVC waterproofing. A solar power plant will be installed on the roof, ensuring the building is carbon neutral and has a near-zero energy demand. The building will be surrounded by a large parking area and a landscaped garden.
